The best graduating student with distinction in the West African Secondary School Examination Council, WASSC/WAEC for the year 2023/2024 who has the total number of nine A’s(9As), Miss Aisha Omotola Awofeso, of Air Force Secondary School, Ikeja, Lagos has been celebrated and honoured by Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NAṢFAT for her outstanding acomplishment with a perfect result of A1 in all her subjects in the general examination.

The congratulatory ceremony and presentation of the scholarship was held on Sunday at Alausa, Ikeja during the Society’s Àsalatu session.

This was disclosed in a letter duly signed by the General Secretary of the society, Mr. Dauud Gbenga Sunmonu and which was made available to Kiin Media.

The Society’s Vice President 2, Prof. Rafiu Bolaji Adegbola co-ordinated the session and presented the congratulatory/scholarship offer to her in the presence of her mother, Mrs. Awofeso.

Prof. Adegbola however encouraged Aishat to continue soaring the flag of her scholarly achievements higher and higher.

“We want you to maintain, continue and sustain this academic excellence achievement and tempo, even as you’ve been offered admission into University of Lagos, let it be 5 over 5 as you go into the higher institute of learning. In Sha’a” Allah. May Allah SWT continue to make it easy for you.”

“The scholarship will cover your tuition, accommodation, books, and other fees on an annual basis for the 5 years duration of study”.

“We are proud of you and your academic excellence accomplishment especially being a Muslimah, continue to represent in Islam very well in all ramifications including character wise, you’re certainly an ambassador of Islam and that’s why NAṢFAT has deemed it fit to congratulate, encourage and appreciate your academic doggedness, outstanding achievement besides it aligns with the Society’s policy thrust, HELD which is translated to Health, Education Livelihood and Dawah, hence, the reason for having this for you Aishat Omotola Awofeso.”

He however appreciated all the members of the society on behalf of the National Executive Council, NEC for their support on the programme and other projects the society has been embarking on for the good of humanity.

Other stakeholders at the presentation were NAṢFAT Executive Secretary, Alh. AbdulRahman Adogie and the Society’s legal Officer, Mrs. Aishat Oyebisi-Muhammed.
