The President of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), Dr Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf FCS, joined dignitaries to celebrate First Class Muslim Graduates in Nigeria at a colourful ceremony hosted at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
The event was organised by the Mind Foundation for Development, under the leadership of Dr Muiz Banire SAN, to recognise Muslim graduates who attained First Class honours and to honour distinguished figures committed to academic and spiritual development in the Nigerian society.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr AbdulRauf applauded the graduates for their exceptional discipline, resilience, and pursuit of excellence. He noted that the combination of academic brilliance with moral uprightness remains central to building a prosperous and value-driven Muslim community.
NASFAT, with over 360 locations worldwide, has become renowned for bringing together Muslims from all walks of life. The society continues to impact lives positively, upholding humanity and offering guidance rooted in deep Islamic injunctions while championing education and service.
Also in attendance was Hajia Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Formulation, who commended the initiative as an inspiring platform for grooming role models capable of balancing faith, leadership, and intellectual capacity.
The Second Muslim First Class Graduates Reception reaffirmed that academic achievement and spiritual devotion can thrive together, while positioning NASFAT and its leadership as front-runners in nurturing future generations of Nigerian Muslims.
