NASFAT Story
PROFILE OF NASRUL-LAHI-L-FATIH SOCIETY
The quest for Islamic knowledge and brotherly association led to the forum where Muslims meet with Islamic scholars to learn more about the religion favored by Allah: AL-ISLAAM
In response to the call of Allaah (SWT) in Q3: 104, which says: “Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islaam), enjoining righteousness and forbidding evil, and it is they who are successful,” letters of invitation were dispatched to few Muslim elites from all walks of life, and the response was encouraging. Consequently, on Sunday, 5th March 1995, the society, NASRUL-LAHI-L-FATIH (NASFAT), had its inaugural prayer session at the residence of its pioneer president, now Chairman, Board of trustees, Alhaji Abdul-Lateef ‘Wale Olasupo.
The Society, through the grace of Almighty Allaah (SWT) and dint of hard work on the part of the Executive Council, the Council of Elders, and the Mission Board, coupled with the unrelenting cooperation of its members, has since been growing from strength.
The membership strength of the society, which at inception was less than twenty, has grown into over one mission Muslim from various fields of human endeavors. Al-hamdulillaahi Kathiiran.
