NASFAT is a pacesetting Islamic organization with a vision statement to develop an enlightened Muslim Society nurtured by a true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind. NASFAT presently boasts of over 300 branches and groups spread across Nigeria and other major countries of the world. In furtherance of the objectives of the constitution of our society, we host a biennial General Conference at different locations each time. This year’s biennial General Conference is scheduled as follows:

Thursday 21st - 24th December, 2017

University of Ghana, Legon - Accra, Ghana

Theme: NASFAT: Aligning with Global Diversity

The choice of this theme is premised on our realisation that the essence meaning and effects of diversity are often undermined because its management is relatively appreciated. We strongly believe that Diversity management is the key to growth; it is our desire to make it authentic. Our quest for global relevancy requires us to necessarily embrace diversity – in how we think, act and innovate within the limits allowed in Islam.

We are therefore seeking to explore the principle of diversity as a divine phenomenon for internal growth and external relevancy across the Globe. Moreover, it is our desire to use it as a veritable vehicle for actualisation of our vision and mission statements with focus on good conduct which inherently plays a laudable role in helping others to understand Islam and Muslims which ultimately would translate to earning respect of others.
