The President , Engr Kameel Yomi Bolarinwa, the Board of Trustees, the National Council of Elders, the Mission Board and the entire members of Nasrul Lahi L Fatih Society NASFAT join the entire Ummah in mourning the passage of late Sheikh Garba Akinola Ibrahim,Chief Imam of Lagos, whose death occurred on Sunday September 24th 2017.
In a message signed by the Publicity Secretary of NASFAT Alh Banji Busari, Engr Bolarinwa described late Sheikh Garba Akinola Ibrahim as a quintessential cleric whose life was exemplary. He further described the deceased as a sincere and truthful man of God who lived all his life upholding the truth as well as striving for love and peaceful existence among various people irrespective of their ethnic, or religious backgrounds
“Sheikh Garba Akinola Ibrahim will be missed especially by the Ummah for his forth rightness and his efforts in peaceful coexistence as well as his contributions to the national development ‘Engr Bolarinwa said..”
However we are consoled by his great ethical and religious legacies which will continue to benefit the mankind “he added
“As we mourn him we pray Almighty Allah to overlook his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah firdaos. We also pray Allah to grant his family, Lagos State and the entire Ummah the strength to bear the loss.” Engr Bolarinwa offered.
