The Youth wing of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society at the Headquarters today kicked off their 2018 youth week with a special prayer and a rally/visitation to the Special Correctional Boys Facility, Oregun.
The rally and visitation was centered around saying No to DRUG ABUSE and Advocacy on Mental Health
The visitation saw youth members and members of the Teen Class sharing an interactive session with the boys at the correctional home.
Pharm. Mutiat Oshikoya spoke to the boys on Drug Abuse And it’s effects; Sis Aisha Usman also spoke with them about Violence and shared tips on what to do when Abused or violence is noticed
Speaking on Self Esteem was Barrister Tunji Abdul Matin Sowale while Pharm. Ganiyat Alaraba moderated the session
The program was quite an interesting experience as boys from the school shared with us their experiences in the facility, what brought them to the facility and how they have improved during their stay there.
It was quite obvious that the boys had dreams as they were sharing several with us with great hope that they would achieve it.
At the Walk/Rally was Alh. Fatai Olayemi (Immediate Past NASFAT Youth Amir and Current NEC Ex-Officio) and Alh. Bashir Salman (Stakeholder, NASFAT Youth Wing ). Gallant Men of NASFAT Security Committee led by Alh. Miftau Balogun and Officers of Alausa Secretariat Police Force also supported during the Walk/Rally
We Pray Allah swt grant this effort as an act of Ibadah.
