NASFAT 25th Anniversary Essay Competition

As part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations, the aim of the Essay Competition by NASFAT is to solicit ideas into the building of a better society for Nigeria and Nigerians, and to unlock the creativity and potentials of the Nigerian youth. The Essay Competition provides a platform to let the voices of the Youth be heard and to contribute towards the building of a better Society.

Secondary School

Essay Topic – The Individual As the Building Block for a Better Society – A Student’s Perspective The essay entries must be written in English, be not more than 1000 words and be typed using Microsoft Word and emailed to anniversary@nasfat.org on or before 8.00am (GMT + 1) on Sunday March 22, 2020.
All applicants must be Muslims of Nigerian origin and student in a Secondary school. Applicants must submit their complete contact details which include their full names, Secondary School and address of school, Class and name of Class Teacher, phone number and email address through which the applicant can be reached.
All entries will be assessed, and the Top 3 essay entries will be awarded prizes.

Tertiary Institution

Essay Topic – The role of faith-based organisations in Nation Building The essay entries must be written in English, be not more than 1500 words and be typed using Microsoft Word and emailed toanniversary@nasfat.org on or before 8.00am (GMT + 1) on Sunday March 22, 2020.
All applicants must be Muslims of Nigerian origin currently enrolled in a course in any tertiary institution.
Applicant must submit their complete contact details which include their full names, Tertiary Institution, Department, Year of Admission, personal phone number and email address. All entries will be assessed, and the Top 3 essay entries will be awarded prizes.
