Mission Statement The mission statement of the society remains: “To develop an enlightened muslim society nurtured by a true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind” Implications Our mission implies that we shall strive towards the development of an enlightened muslim society. Our activities will be aimed not only at the spritual development of muslims but also their welfare. We shall focus on helping the muslim ummah to develop a true understanding of Islam according to the tenets of the Holy Qu’ran and the Sunnah.

*NASFAT MY HIJAB STORY:*

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Follow *@nasfathq* and *@nasfatyouth* on Twitter.

2. Make a 1 minute video of yourself in Hijab (Tell us your Hijab Story, or a poem about Hijab).

3. Post on Twitter with the hashtag *#NASFAThijabmypride*

4. A panel will screen all the video entries and the best (3) videos with the best messages will be rewarded.

5. *1st: Laptop*.
*2nd: Tablet*.
*3rd: Smart Phone*.

6. Deadline for posting entries *January 27th, 2020*.

7. Winners will be announced on *February 1st*.

Call for Application
Dear NASFAT Members,
In order to deliver on “Education” which is one of the 4 priorities under HELD (H-HEALTH, E- EDUCATION, L- LIVELIHOOD, D- DAWAH) - the focus of the NASFAT EXECUTIVES, 2019 -2021; the Call for Applications for Teachers Development is now open for the second year through the Project “ Make Every Teacher A Leader (M.E.T.A.L), Training Scholarships -2020. This scheme is funded by NASFAT but organized in partnership with Scorpiosis Leadership Development Centre and University of Lagos.
This Scholarship is open to all registered members of NASFAT who are experienced and qualified teachers, from our Branches in Lagos and Ogun State. Applicants must be available to participate in the weekend leadership development training program once in a month for one year at any of the Scorpiosis Training Centres in Lagos. The scholarship only covers tuition fee of thirty thousand naira (N30,000) and certain study materials. The program is for educators interested in enhancing their self-confidence, self esteem, communication skills, interpersonal relationship, ability to engage stakeholders and be a team player. Successful candidates must also demonstrate commitment, dedication and punctuality. Interested candidates should apply at:
